About Me, Betsy Dischel

I believe you have the ability to learn anything you want to. I would love to be be a part of your team and help you find the tools and strategies to support you in making that happen.

In my career I have taught Special Education in the public school system, built a transition program for young adults learning vocational and life skills, and designed a language program teaching Spanish, Hebrew, and American Sign Language through music and movement.

I grew up in NYC, graduated from Cornell University and have a teaching credential from San Jose State University. In my free time, I enjoy adventuring with my teenage son, boogie boarding in the Pacific Ocean, backpacking the Olympic Peninsula and Alpine lakes, biking, hiking, paddling, and venturing to the Methow for some cross-country skiing. You can also find me jamming on my red ukulele!
